What a Delaware Camera Ticket Costs

Red light violations carry a civil assessment of up to $110, with an additional $10 added if the fine goes unpaid within 20 days. Speed violations follow a different structure, tied to Delaware's general speeding-penalty schedule: a base of $20 for a first offense or $25 for a subsequent offense, plus a per-mile-over surcharge of roughly $1 to $4, plus court costs of up to $35.

The Escalation Most States Don't Have: License Suspension

Delaware's nonpayment path is the most nuanced in this batch, and it runs in two very different directions depending on what you do.
