Krebs's piece situates both sites within a broader network of similarly Chinese-registered people-search domains; one site in that network, Cocofinder (not TruePeopleSearch or FastPeopleSearch), is separately reported, per a source Krebs cites, as a subsidiary of a company called Shenzhen Duiyun Technology Co. Krebs's own reporting does not directly name a corporate parent for TruePeopleSearch or FastPeopleSearch themselves, so this guide does not either.

A smaller, independently observed data point from this review points the same direction: TruePeopleSearch's footer lists a San Francisco mailing address using private mailbox number 29296.
